Aaron Black

Aaron has spent years on both sides of what seniors and their families need: the human side and the hands-on side.

Early in his career he worked in a skilled nursing facility as a social worker, overseeing social services for a memory care wing. He worked closely with residents, families, nurses, therapists, and doctors to navigate the challenges of aging, dementia, and long-term care. He also served as an Alzheimer’s Association support group facilitator, helping families process the emotional and practical realities of caring for a loved one with memory loss.

Aaron later earned a master’s degree and a doctorate and worked in higher-education administration and teaching. Since leaving Higher Ed. 5 years ago he has run a woodworking/carpentry shop and a mower repair business here in the Ozarks.

That combination—senior care expertise + hands-on repair skills—makes him uniquely suited for this work. Aaron has been in hundreds of homes and garages, fixing things, building things, and helping people solve real problems

Springfield Senior Help is his way of putting all that experience to work for local families, showing up as someone you can trust, who knows what to do and how to treat your loved ones with respect.

Jennifer Black

Jennifer has spent years serving in nonprofit and charity roles, where she developed a reputation for kindness, reliability, and genuine care. One of her most meaningful experiences was assisting a blind woman with daily tasks—helping her manage bills, stay organized, attend appointments, and navigate everyday life with confidence.

She brings that same patient, supportive approach to every senior she works with. Jennifer is warm, trustworthy, and easy to be around. She enjoys helping with errands, companionship, light household tasks, and keeping life running smoothly.

As a mom of three, she’s steady, adaptable, and understands the importance of treating every person with dignity and respect. With Jennifer, families know their loved one is in good hands.
